Limited Tickets Available! Join us for a bourbon tasting and private concert featuring the talented Travis Book (of The Infamous Stringdusters) and Drew Matulich, who will be performing a blend of classic harmony singing, including their original songs in the traditional "brothers-style" bluegrass harmony. In addition to the exceptional musical experience, we'll have a wonderful bourbon tasting featuring a special guide to take us through the selections. The cost of the evening includes a limited edition commemorative ESMF Bourbon tasting glass, light appetizers, and samples of our Earl Scruggs Music Festival Russell's Barrel Selection. EARL'S PICKIN' PAVILION
SPONSORED BY THE INTERNATIONAL BLUEGRASS MUSIC ASSOCIATION
Bring your instruments and jam with fellow musicians from 10:00am - 7:00pm at Earl's Pickin' Pavilion, sponsored by IBMA. The first hour of each day from 10:00am - 11:00am will feature a Slow(er) Jam, great for newer players, dancers and even long time players who need a warm up! Join Dance Instructor Laura Wheeler for guided slow, percussive dance steps from 10am-11am, and Freestyle Dance at noon. The Open Jam continues with the groups’ favorite tunes and songs until 7 pm daily.

The Earl Scruggs Music Festival offers fun for the whole family with activities for children up to age 12. The Kid Zone, organized and staffed by dedicated teachers, parents, and educators from KidSenses Museum, is located in the grassy area next to the Flint Hill Stage. It features activities such as STEAM experiments and demonstrations, live music sing-a-longs, relays and obstacle courses, a Hobby Horse jump, creative opportunities such as finger knitting and candle making, outdoor games like Corn Hole and Connect 4, and a kid community art board.

While you enjoy your meal, you'll be treated to a special performance of bluegrass and traditional banjo and fiddle tunes by the acclaimed master musicians Allison de Groot + Tatiana Hargreaves. Our menu will feature a variety of options, including Earl's favorite, fried liver mush, alongside our resort Chef's expertly prepared dishes. Community building, family friendly fun awaits you at the Silver Spoon Saloon! Whether you love to dance or are intimidated by the thought of it, this is for you! We will be moving our feet to the beat of live music guided by enthusiastic caller, Laura Wheeler. From zero experience to dance extraordinaires, all are encouraged and welcomed! The Foxhounds (hyperlink to their lineup page?) provide the dance music on Friday and Saturday. On Sunday, The Gladson Trio (hyperlink to their lineup page?) will provide dance music.

EARL SCRUGGS RUN THE RHYTHM 5K
Kick off your festival weekend with a morning dash through one of the most scenic spots in the Southeast. Our first-ever Run the Rhythm 5K winds through the beautiful Tryon International Equestrian Center. Spots are limited, so grab your running shoes and get ready to race to the rhythm.

ADD-ON EXPERIENCES
HORSEBACK TRAIL RIDES THROUGH THE BLUE RIDGE FOOTHILLS OF TRYON RESORT
Meet at the General Store at 8:30am, for a 9:00am-10:00am ride, Thursday-Saturday. Enjoy a one-hour Tryon Western Adventure trail ride. Participants will meet at the Tryon General Store where a guide will provide instructions and gear. The trail ride will explore the beautiful, wooded trails of the Tryon International Equestrian Center, guided by local experts. No experience is required. The minimum age for the trail rides is 6 years old.
