Daily GA Parking will be available with Earl Express shuttle service provided throughout the day. PLEASE NOTE: Preferred Parking in the main lot IS NOT included with any ticket type. You must purchase this separately here.

Empty water bottles are allowed into the festival. There are several places to refill your water bottle around the festival grounds, including all restaurants on-site, the General Store, and public water fountains. If you aren’t sure please ask a volunteer or look at our welcome guides.

Point-and-Shoot cameras are permitted, but only for personal use. Commercial photographers must request a media credential by clicking here. Please note that we reserve the right to not issue media credentials for every request.

No bags or purses will be allowed in the festival venue gates unless they are made of a clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC. Please note, all guests will be subject to search upon arrival via our security check-point. To expedite the entry process, our overall suggestion – less is more! ✅ YES -Clear bags made of clear plastic, clear vinyl, or clear pvc which do not exceed 14" x 17" x 6" ✅ YES Instruments in cases will be allowed in to be used in the Jamming Area, but will be subject to a thorough search. 🚫 NO backpacks or bags that are not clear 🚫 Single pocket drawstring bags that are not clear

Coolers and outside food and drink are not permitted inside the Earl Scruggs Music Festival performance venues, except for medical reasons (dietary restrictions, glucose intolerance, etc.). One pint-sized zip-lock bag per person can be brought into the performance venues for medical reasons.

Pets are not permitted inside the festival grounds where the Earl Scruggs Music Festival is being held; however, pets are welcome in the RV camping areas, provided that they are leashed when outside and that AC is present when the pet is left alone. Animal neglect will not be tolerated at the festival.

The Festival is an outdoor event, however, there are covered stage viewing areas available at the Flint Hill Stage in Grandstand seating. You must have a Grandstand ticket to access the Grandstand.

Yes, but the festival will have safe practices in place for severe weather situations. In case of a weather emergency, please follow instructions from our staff.

The Kid Zone, for kids 12 and under is organized and staffed by dedicated teachers, parents, and educators from KidSenses Museum, is located in the grassy area next to the Flint Hill Stage. It features activities such as STEAM experiments and demonstrations, live music sing-a-longs, relays and obstacle courses, a Hobby Horse jump, creative opportunities such as finger knitting and candle making, outdoor games like Corn Hole and Connect 4, and a kid community art board.

Yes! We encourage all patrons to bring their instruments and join us at the jamming area, Earl’s Pickin’ Pavilion. BYO Instrument! All instrument cases will be subject to search at the festival gate. Let's celebrate Scruggs the best way we know how!

Portable, collapsible chairs (nothing taller than a standard camping chair) are permitted inside the GA area.Chairs are not allowed to remain at the Flint Hill, Louise Scruggs, or Foggy Mountain Stages overnight. If chairs are left overnight, the festival does not guarantee that they will be there the following day.

Sunshades and tents are not permitted. Blankets must not exceed 10’ x 10’.

The Music Venue at Tryon International is ADA accessible. There are designated sections available for ADA seating within General Admission, The Grandstands, as well as Scruggs Club each requiring their designated ticket for access to these areas. Ramps are available to all handicap seating sections however being an outdoor venue please be prepared to traverse hard pack grass or other substrates. These areas are accessible with wheeled implements but please do come prepared for the varied surfaces. We do have multiple ADA parking spaces available, attendees requiring ADA parking will need to hang their ADA-approved parking tag in their car for access to these spaces. Yes- you are allowed to bring a collapsable hand-pulled wagon into the festival grounds. Please note that all wagons are subject to search at the gate. When the wagon is not in use it must be collapsed down so as not to obstruct walkways / take up space.
